China A train ride is fun ..

particularly funny it is but if it lasts 26 hours and 2,100 miles long
is. Well, why so long? According to GPS, we were in some cases even north
as our goal, and although the start time to Xian in the north was. Since
any wonder no one that instead of the distance was 1400km out of it more. So much for the Chinese
Ausbaugrat rails.

It was again a hard sleepers. This means that open into a compartment
6 people to sleep over each other on each side three is three floors
. One can easily imagine that there is definitely someone snores of
. On this train there were several
people. Who is trying to sleep but during the day every 15
awakened minutes. Since then runs a conductor (or at least someone
in his uniform) around and try things (fruit, toothbrush, DVD player
, Fertignuddeln) for sale. That is very annoying, yes
zumahl everything is shouted in Chinese. In the Tolietten
could be lucky or not. Bad luck they had when the
had not previously understood the principle of the mud. At least not this time
gabs a recycle bin with used (sometimes bloody)
Toliettenpapier in the premises. We had the model constantly
open pipe "caught what caused at least stands for fresh air.
air conditioning is nonexistent. The ventilation is by the conductor after feeling
switched on and off. Partly the air directly from outside
if the tunnel is a little longer, then schonmal
cold.

But to the few things the ride was quite pleasant. In each train
is hot water, and so eat so ziemlich jeder hier
Fertignudelgerichte und trinkt Tee (vor allem die Chinesen).

So sind wir dann gut nach 26h (40 Min. Verspaetung in Xian
angekommen). Dort haben wir auch gleich die Stadt erkundet. Bei dieser
Erkundung hat sich doch tatsaechlich ein Taschendieb an meinen
Rucksack zu schaffen gemacht. Ich bemerkte jedoch rechtzeitig das
irgendwer da illegalerweise was unternimmt. Er rannte weg und ich habe
wohl Glueck gehabt, denn alles ist noch da. Werde wohl nun noch mehr
aufpassen...
