Zu beachten ist hierbei aber, dass die Ausgaben erst in dem Jahr geltend gemacht werden können, in dem der Verkaufserlös zufließt.

Nicht mehr als Werbungskosten absetzbar sind die Vermögensverwaltungs- und Depotgebühren. Steuermindernd sind allerdings Anschaffungs- und Veräußerungskosten bei der Gewinnermittlung. In vielen Vermögensverwaltungsverträgen sind diese Kosten mit der Jahrespauschale abgegolten. Problem dabei ist, das diese Pauschale keinem Geschäft konkret zugeordnet werden kann. Deshalb wird unterstellt man in dieser einen 50%igen Transaktionskostenanteil, der von den Banken jetzt bei der Aktiengewinnermittlung in den Verlusttopf eingestellt wird und damit steuermindernd wirkt.
