Die letzte Nacht war ziemlich kalt, denn es waren unter 0 Grad (Zahnputzwasser war gefroren). Heute haben wir ein wenig die Landschaft erkundet. Dabei blieb das oelige Essen zum Mittag nicht aus. Ansonsten war heute noch ein wenig Sightseeing angesagt sowie die Vorbereitung auf die naechste 34h Zugfahrt, die mit zwei Naechten zu Buche schlaegt.

Mit den chinesisch Woerterbuch wurde den Taxifahrer kurz klar gemacht wo es hingehen soll und los ging es, Ankunft folgte auch 1.5 Euro spaeter. Danach ging es zur Gondel, die direkt auf das Gebirge fuhr. Uebrigends waren die hoechste Schadensersatzsumme nur 5000 Euro pro Person, falls uns ein etwas passieren wuerde. In Deutschland wuerde man mit dieser Summe wohl nicht zufrieden sein aber hier scheint es zu reichen. Also ging es hoch und zwar durch einen dicken Nebel.

Und von da aus faehrt der Fernzug nach Xi'an ca. 1600 km weit. Na wenn das kein Spass wird..

Am Wochenende war es soweit es ging in die Stadt wo ganz Asien Glueckspiele spielen: Macau . Warum hier? Weil es nur hier erlaubt ist.

Nach kurzer Orientierung ging es in die Stadt. Dort konnte alte Gebaeude im portugisischen Baustil bestaunt werden, denn Macau war einmal eine Kolonie der Portugiesen. Aber ausser diesen alten Gebauede gabs nicht viel zu sehen. Und dies obwohl uns Einheimische, die dieses Jahr zur ISWI in Ilmenau waren, beiseite standen.

Das Innenabteil ist sehr komfortabler, wahrscheinlich sind wir auch erste Klasse gefahren. Einziges Manko: eine Innentuer zwischen zwei Waggons konnte nur mit Gewalt geoeffnet werden. Da hatte man wenigstens was zu lachen, denn die Fahrt dauerte etwas ueber eine Stunde und staendig wanted people through.
