Am Wochenende war es soweit es ging in die Stadt wo ganz Asien Glueckspiele spielen: Macau . Warum hier? Weil es nur hier erlaubt ist.
Am Samstag ging die Fahrt mit der Faehre von Hong Kong nach Macau. Dort angekommen gabs erstmal wieder alle Einreiseformalitaeten, denn Macau ist wie Hong Kong ein eigenes Land. Und das natuerlich auch mit einer eigenen Waehrung, wiedermal gab es neue Scheine und Muenzen.
Nach kurzer Orientierung ging es in die Stadt. Dort konnte alte Gebaeude im portugisischen Baustil bestaunt werden, denn Macau war einmal eine Kolonie der Portugiesen. Aber ausser diesen alten Gebauede gabs nicht viel zu sehen. Und dies obwohl uns Einheimische, die dieses Jahr zur ISWI in Ilmenau waren, beiseite standen.
Also ging es dann Abends auf in die Casinos. Zuerst war das Venitian dran. Das groesste Casino Macaus im viertgroessten Gebauede der Welt . Ich muss sagen ich war schlichtweg on the dimensions of the slain:
